I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, which probably explains why I naturally break complicated things down into steps people can actually understand. I also coach Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, where a big part of the job is the same: notice what's going wrong, simplify it, and help someone get from "I have no idea what I'm doing" to "ohhhh that makes sense."
Bookkeeping scratches the same itch.
I like the puzzle of it. I like finding the thing that doesn't quite fit. And I like helping business owners understand what their numbers are actually telling them without making them feel like they need an accounting degree to follow along.
